CILACAP - Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan (SAR) Cilacap mendapat laporan dari pihak perusahaan kapal tentang kehilangan kontak dengan kapal nelayan "Kilat Maju Jaya 7" pada Kamis, 10 Maret 2024, pukul 11.00 WIB di perairan Samudera Hindia. Kapal ini dilaporkan hilang kontak dengan POB 10 orang di atasnya.
Menurut kronologis kejadian, Kapten Kapal Maju Jaya 28, BP Tarmuji, menerima laporan dari Kapten Kapal Kilat Maju Jaya 7, Waidin, tentang rencana berlabuh di Cimiring, Cilacap. Namun, setelah laporan tersebut, kapal Kilat Maju Jaya 7 tidak dapat dihubungi kembali hingga hari ini, Minggu, 13 Maret 2024.
Koordinat terakhir kapal diperoleh adalah 10°1510.00"S, 109° 7'0.00"E, dengan kondisi cuaca saat itu sedang hujan. Kapal diperkirakan berada sekitar 151 NM dari Kantor SAR Cilacap, dengan arah kapal menuju ke 177° dari kantor tersebut.
"Kami telah menerima laporan dan segera mengkoordinasikan upaya pencarian dan penyelamatan. Mohon bantuan dari kapal-kapal yang melintas di sekitar wilayah tersebut untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam upaya pencarian dan penyelamatan korban," ungkap Kepala Kantor SAR Cilacap.

Kapal Kilat Maju Jaya 7 memiliki Gross Tonnage (GT) sebesar 22 dan merupakan jenis kapal pembawa ikan (fish carrier). Stasiun Radio Pantai Cilacap telah membroadcast kepada kapal – kapal yang melintas dan terus memantau situasi.
Upaya pencarian dan penyelamatan korban hilang ini akan terus dilakukan dengan kerja sama dari berbagai pihak demi keselamatan para pelaut.

CILACAP - The Cilacap Search and Rescue (SAR) Office received a report from a shipping company regarding the loss of contact with the fishing vessel "Kilat Maju Jaya 7" on Thursday, March 10, 2024, at 11:00 AM local time in the waters of the Indian Ocean. The vessel was reported to have lost contact with Position Operating Base (POB) 10 carrying ten individuals.
According to the chronology of events, Captain of the Maju Jaya 28 vessel, BP Tarmuji, received a report from Captain of the Kilat Maju Jaya 7 vessel, Waidin, about plans to anchor at Cimiring, Cilacap. However, after the report, the Kilat Maju Jaya 7 vessel could not be contacted again until today, Sunday, March 13, 2024.
The last known coordinates of the vessel were 10°1510.00"S, 109° 7'0.00"E, with the weather conditions at the time reported as raining. The vessel is estimated to be approximately 151 nautical miles from the Cilacap SAR Office, with a heading of 177° from the office.
"We have received the report and immediately coordinated search and rescue efforts. We appeal for assistance from vessels passing through the area to contribute to the search and rescue efforts," said the Head of the Cilacap SAR Office.
