Kapal yang membawa 10 orang ini mengalami insiden pada pukul 09.00 WIB, memicu operasi penyelamatan besar-besaran yang melibatkan berbagai pihak.

Laporan pertama mengenai insiden ini diterima dari salah satu anak buah kapal (ABK) TB. RIMAU 31 bernama Rizal, yang langsung menghubungi Kantor SAR Surabaya pada pukul 11.30 WIB. Rizal, yang juga menjadi korban dalam insiden ini, melaporkan bahwa kapal yang berlayar dari Banjarmasin menuju Gresik tersebut menabrak karang dan mulai miring serta terancam tenggelam.

Pada pukul 12.15 WIB, KN SAR Permadi diberangkatkan dari Surabaya menuju lokasi kejadian yang diperkirakan berada di koordinat 5°46'08.9"S dan 112°51'09.8"E. Tim SAR tiba di lokasi pada pukul 19.15 WIB, setelah menempuh perjalanan selama sekitar 6-7 jam, dengan jarak 85,86 NM dan radial 6,35°.
Kondisi Korban dan Penyelamatan
Sebanyak 10 orang yang berada di atas kapal dilaporkan sebagai survivor, dengan kondisi yang belum sepenuhnya diketahui. Hingga saat ini, data detail mengenai korban masih dalam proses pengumpulan. Meski demikian, tidak ada laporan mengenai korban jiwa maupun orang hilang dalam insiden ini.
Unsur dan Peralatan SAR yang Terlibat
Operasi penyelamatan ini melibatkan 12 orang kru dari KN SAR Permadi, serta sejumlah peralatan penting seperti HP satelit, dua unit alat komunikasi, dan satu set perlengkapan P3K. Cuaca di lokasi dilaporkan cerah, yang membantu kelancaran proses evakuasi.
