Pada tanggal 26 Juni 2024, pukul 11:00 WIB, kami menerima informasi dari AKP Sahrawi, Kasatpolairud Polres Sumenep (nomor kontak 0878 5232 2363), bahwa telah terjadi kecelakaan kapal nelayan PN Sinar Marlena yang tenggelam di perairan utara Legung, Kecamatan Batang-Batang, Kabupaten Sumenep. Lokasi kecelakaan berada di koordinat 06°49'35.3"S 114°03'44"E.
Kapal tersebut membawa lima orang penumpang yang berasal dari Desa Banraas Gili Iyang, Kecamatan Dungkek, Sumenep. Dari lima penumpang tersebut, dua orang berhasil diselamatkan sementara tiga orang lainnya masih dalam pencarian. Berikut adalah data korban:
- Mahri, usia 35 tahun (Selamat)
- Madripak, usia 57 tahun (Selamat)
- Sakben, usia 50 tahun (Dalam pencarian)
- Amsun, usia 49 tahun (Dalam pencarian)
- Saili, usia 33 tahun (Dalam pencarian)
Terkait dengan kejadian tersebut, Stasiun Radio Pantai dan VTS Terdekat terus menerus Melakukan Broadcast Berita Keselamatan Untuk mengimbau kepada seluruh kapal dan nelayan yang beraktivitas di sekitar perairan Sapudi dan Raas, serta yang melintasi Perairan Utara Legung, Kecamatan Batang-Batang, Kabupaten Sumenep, untuk membantu dalam pencarian dan pertolongan terhadap korban kecelakaan. Jika melihat atau menemukan korban, mohon segera memberikan bantuan dan berkoordinasi dengan pihak berwenang.
