Surabaya, 05 Mei 2024 – VTS Surabaya menerima laporan bahwa telah terjadi Man Over Board(MOB) dimana satu orang terjatuh dari atas kapal. Kejadian tersebut terjadi pada posisi sekitar depan dock kamal (Crane busch warna kuning.
Berikut adalah identitas kapal yang mengalami kecelakaan tersebut :

Adapun identitas korban yang terjatuh dari atas kapal adalah sebagai berikut :
Nama : Soni Tri Prasetyo
Usia : 22 Tahun
Posisi : Kadet
Pakaian : Tidak mengenakan baju dan mengenakan celana hitam
Korban dilaporkan tidak menggunakan alat apung diketahui loncat di buritan dan ada 2 orang saksi. Korban terseret arus sampai crane busch warna kuning. Posisi kapal berlabuh di depan ICT untuk antri ke dock kamal. Adapun tindakan yang dilakukan yaitu berkumunikasi dengan KNP 436 untuk melakukan penyisiran dan pencarian korban. Hingga berita dibuat korban masih belum di temukan.

The victim was reported not using a buoyancy device known to have jumped on the stern and there were 2 witnesses. The victim was dragged by the current until the yellow busch crane.
