Jumat 26 April 2024 Kapal Ro-Ro KMP Mishima sudah berhasil di evakuasi dan ditempatkan di dermaga Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Bajoe pasca insiden tubrukan dengan Kapal Layar Motor (KLM) yang berada di Dermaga Pelabuhan Laut Bajoe.
Kepala Kantor UPP Kelas II Bajoe Capt. Ramlah mengatakan berkat hasil koordinasi dengan BPTD, ASDP dan Kapolsek Kawasan Pelabuhan Bajoe kapal berhasil ditempatkan di Dermaga Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Bajoe.
Capt Ramlah mengatakan bahwa insiden tersebut diakibatkan KMP Mishima dengan rute Bajoe tujuan Kolaka mengalami kendala pada kemudi sehingga kapal tidak dapat dikendalikan. Dalam kejadian tersebut seluruh penumpang dan awak kapal seluruhnya berhasil selamat.
“Alhamdulillah atas insiden tersebut tidak terdapat korban jiwa, seluruh penumpang dan awak dalam keadaan selamat dan sehat namun memang ada kerusakan pada KLM akibat tubrukan,” ujar Capt. Ramlah.
Disaat yang sama Ramlah menyebutkan, setelah proses KMP Mishima berhasil sandar di Dermaga Pelabuhan Penyeberangan Bajoe para penumpang dan muatan di bongkar dan diberangkatkan dengan kapal lain.
Saat ini pihak UPP Kelas II Bajoe sudah selesai melakukan mediasi antara pemilik kapal KMP Mishima yaitu PT. Jemla Ferry dengan pemilik KLM yaitu masyarakat setempat yang berprofesi sebagai nelayan. Dikarenakan terjadi kerusakan pada kapal KLM milik masyarakat, PT. Jemla Ferry selaku pemilik kapal bertanggung jawab dan akan mengganti rugi atas kerusakan KLM yang dimiliki oleh pengusaha kapal setempat.

The Head of the Bajoe Class II UPP Office, Capt. Ramlah, stated that thanks to the coordination with BPTD, ASDP, and the Police Chief of the Bajoe Port Area, the ship was successfully placed at the Ferry Terminal Pier in Bajoe Port.
Capt. Ramlah mentioned that the incident occurred because the KMP Mishima, en route from Bajoe to Kolaka, experienced steering problems, causing the ship to lose control. In the incident, all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated.
"Alhamdulillah, there were no casualties in the incident, all passengers and crew members are safe and healthy, although there was damage to the Motor Sailing Ship due to the collision," said Capt. Ramlah.
At the same time, Ramlah mentioned that after the KMP Mishima successfully docked at the Ferry Terminal Pier in Bajoe Port, passengers and cargo were unloaded and transferred to another ship.
Currently, the Bajoe Class II UPP Office has completed the mediation process between the owner of the KMP Mishima, PT. Jemla Ferry, and the owner of the KLM, local fishermen. Due to the damage to the fishermen's ship, PT. Jemla Ferry, as the ship owner, is responsible and will compensate for the damage to the KLM owned by the local ship operator.
