Laporan dari Lantamal (Lanal) menurut telegram dari Pangkalan TNI AL Semarang, tanggal 18 Maret 2024, mengindikasikan bahwa Satuan Tugas (Satkor) Koarmada II akan melaksanakan latihan penembakan meriam kaliber 76 mm Otomelara, kaliber 35 mm Milenium Gun, dan kaliber 20 mm Vector di perairan Laut Jawa. Latihan ini direncanakan berlangsung pada tanggal 19 Maret 2024 dengan ketinggian maksimum 5000 kaki (feet and below).
Latihan tembak akan dilaksanakan pada dua sesi, yaitu gunnery exercise (Gunex) pada pukul 15.00 – 17.00 WIB dan Anti-Aircraft Fire Exercise (Aarofex) pada pukul 20.00 – 22.00 WIB. Koordinat untuk setiap sesi latihan adalah sebagai berikut:

Terkait dengan area latihan Aarofex, perlu dicatat bahwa terdapat jaringan pipa dari Kepodang hingga Tambak Lorok. Oleh karena itu, Stasiun Radio Pantai Semarang menginformasikan kepada seluruh kapal untuk menghindari area tersebut dan tetap berhati-hati selama pelaksanaan latihan.
Dengan demikian, para pelaut diharapkan untuk memperhatikan informasi ini dengan baik guna menjaga keselamatan dan kelancaran navigasi di perairan Laut Jawa.
