AMBON - Selasa, 12 Maret 2024 - Aksi operasi pencarian dan penyelamatan (SAR) terhadap kapal KM Sweet 30 GT dengan 7 orang penumpang yang mengalami kerusakan badan kapal di sekitar perairan Pulau Ambon terus berlanjut. Kapal tersebut hilang kontak dari Stasiun Radio Pantai Banda, memicu respons cepat dari tim SAR dan berbagai pihak terkait.
Informasi yang kami terima menyebutkan bahwa pada pukul 08:20, tim rescue dari Kantor SAR (Kansar) Ambon bersama dengan potensi SAR menggunakan RBB (Rubber Boat) bergerak menuju lokasi pencarian. Koordinat area pencarian telah ditentukan dengan cermat, yaitu antara titik A hingga D:

B. 3° 45’ 47” S, 128° 9’ 44” E
C. 3° 45’ 47” S, 128° 22’ 53” E
D. 3° 56’ 7” S, 128° 22’ 53” E
Menurut nakhoda KM Jundry 3, sebanyak lima orang kru dari KM Sweet berhasil ditemukan. Di antara mereka adalah Rusdin (nakhoda), Hamid Ely (KKM), Nadil Tomia, Nabil Wolio, dan Kelvin Tuhumane, yang semuanya adalah kadet. Namun, tiga kru lainnya masih dalam pencarian, dengan posisi terakhir diketahui berada pada 03°34,976 LS - 130°11,876 BT.
Cuaca di area pencarian diprediksi berawan dengan angin bertiup dari barat laut dengan kecepatan 10-20 knots dan tinggi gelombang rendah antara 0,5 hingga 1,25 meter.
Berbagai pihak terlibat dalam operasi SAR ini, termasuk tim rescuer dari KPP Ambon, BAKAMLA, Polsek Nusaniwe, dan partisipasi dari masyarakat sekitar. Alat-alat yang digunakan termasuk satu unit RBB Kansar Ambon dan dua unit long boat.
Stasiun Radio Pantai Ambon terus memantau perkembangan pencarian serta Stasiun NAVTEX Ambon sudah memancarkan ke kapal - kapal agar kapal yang melintas dapat memberikan bantuan.

The vessel lost contact from the Banda Coastal Radio Station, prompting a swift response from the SAR team and various relevant authorities.
Information received indicates that at 08:20, the rescue team from the Ambon SAR Office, along with potential SAR assets, using Rubber Boat (RBB), moved towards the search area. The coordinates for the search area have been carefully determined from points A to D:

According to the captain of KM Jundry 3, five crew members from KM Sweet have been found. Among them are Rusdin (captain), Hamid Ely (First Officer), Nadil Tomia, Nabil Wolio, and Kelvin Tuhumane, all of whom are cadets. However, three other crew members are still missing, with their last known position at 03°34.976 LS - 130°11.876 BT.
Weather conditions in the search area are forecasted to be cloudy with west to northwest winds blowing at 10-20 knots and low wave heights ranging from 0.5 to 1.25 meters.
Various entities are involved in this SAR operation, including rescue teams from KPP Ambon, BAKAMLA, Polsek Nusaniwe, and participation from the local community. Equipment being utilized includes one RBB from Kansar Ambon and two long boats.
The Ambon Coast Radio Station continues to monitor the progress of the search and the Ambon NAVTEX Station has broadcast to ships so that passing ships can provide assistance.
