Teluk Bayur, 26 Juli 2025 — VTS Officer (VTSO) Teluk Bayur menerima panggilan distress pada pukul 23.55 LT tanggal 23 Juli 2025 melalui kanal 16 dari kapal KLM SUEISAN INDO 1/YB7054. Kapal tersebut dilaporkan mengalami kebocoran pada lambung sebelah kanan dengan kondisi kemasukan air setinggi 0,5 meter di lantai dek.
KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 memiliki spesifikasi sebagai berikut: GT 79, panjang keseluruhan (LOA) 23,18 meter, lebar (beam) 5,30 meter, dan draft 2,45 meter. Kapal berangkat dari Pelabuhan Muara Padang pada pukul 18.02 LT tanggal 25 Juli 2025 dengan tujuan Sikakap, membawa 6 orang kru dan 10 orang penumpang.
Setelah menerima panggilan darurat, VTSO segera melakukan tindakan sebagai berikut:
- Pukul 20.25 LT, sinyal AIS kapal terpantau tidak aktif.
- Pukul 00.55 LT, informasi diteruskan kepada BASARNAS Padang.
- VTSO menginformasikan situasi kepada KM Gambolo yang berada di sekitar lokasi untuk memberikan bantuan.
- VTSO terus melakukan monitoring komunikasi dengan kapal.
- Pukul 01.20 LT, BASARNAS menyampaikan sedang dalam persiapan operasi SAR.
- Pukul 01.52 LT, MT Gas Venus yang berada di sekitar Pulau Marak juga diinformasikan untuk memberikan bantuan.
- Pukul 01.46 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 terakhir terpantau di posisi 01°21'29.0" S 100°15'33.0" E dengan kecepatan 4,5 knots menuju Pulau Nyamuk.
- Pukul 01.50 LT, kapal termonitor berjarak 6 mil laut dari Pulau Nyamuk.
- Pukul 02.00 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 menginformasikan bahwa belum bersedia dievakuasi oleh MT Gas Venus.
- Kapal terus mendekat ke Pulau Nyamuk dan pada pukul 02.12 LT, MT Gas Venus diminta melakukan pengamatan dari jarak 3–4 mil laut.
- VTSO terus melanjutkan pemantauan.
- Pukul 03.48 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 menginformasikan telah lego jangkar di Pulau Nyamuk. Kapal bantuan dari pihak pemilik dan KN SAR sudah mendekat ke lokasi untuk proses evakuasi.
- Pukul 06.17 LT, VTSO menerima konfirmasi bahwa air di dalam kapal telah kering, dan seluruh penumpang telah berhasil dievakuasi ke kapal SAR yang bertolak menuju Bungus. KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 selanjutnya akan melakukan pengecekan kondisi kapal di Pulau Pasumpahan.

KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 Suffers Hull Leakage, All Passengers Successfully Evacuated
Teluk Bayur, 26 July 2025 — The VTS Officer (VTSO) of Teluk Bayur received a distress call at 23:55 LT on 23 July 2025 via channel 16 from the vessel KLM SUEISAN INDO 1/YB7054. The vessel was reported to have a hull leakage on the starboard side, with water entering the deck area up to a depth of 0.5 meters.
KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 has the following specifications: GT 79, length overall (LOA) 23.18 meters, beam 5.30 meters, and draft 2.45 meters. The vessel departed from Muara Padang Port at 18:02 LT on 25 July 2025, heading to Sikakap, carrying 6 crew members and 10 passengers.
Upon receiving the distress call, the VTSO immediately took the following actions:
• At 20:25 LT, the vessel’s AIS signal was observed to be inactive.
• At 00:55 LT, the information was relayed to BASARNAS Padang.
• VTSO informed KM Gambolo, which was nearby, to provide assistance.
• VTSO continued to monitor communications with the vessel.
• At 01:20 LT, BASARNAS reported preparations were underway for a SAR operation.
• At 01:52 LT, MT Gas Venus, located near Marak Island, was also informed to provide assistance.
• At 01:46 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 was last tracked at position 01°21'29.0" S 100°15'33.0" E moving at 4.5 knots towards Pulau Nyamuk.
• At 01:50 LT, the vessel was monitored at a distance of 6 nautical miles from Pulau Nyamuk.
• At 02:00 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 reported it was not yet ready to be evacuated by MT Gas Venus.
• The vessel continued to approach Pulau Nyamuk, and at 02:12 LT, MT Gas Venus was requested to observe from a distance of 3–4 nautical miles.
• VTSO continued monitoring.
• At 03:48 LT, KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 reported it had anchored at Pulau Nyamuk. Assistance vessels from the ship owner and KN SAR had approached the location for the evacuation process.
• At 06:17 LT, VTSO received confirmation that the water inside the vessel had been cleared and all passengers had been successfully evacuated to the SAR vessel en route to Bungus. KLM SUEISAN INDO 1 would subsequently undergo inspection at Pulau Pasumpahan.
