Kotabaru, Kalsel – Sebuah kecelakaan kapal menimpa LCT Cahaya Dana Reza di perairan Pulau Sebuku pada Koordinat 3°21'36.42"S 116°22'48.76"E, Kabupaten Kotabaru, Kalimantan Selatan. Kapal yang berlayar dari Samarinda menuju Buntok Kalimantan Tengah tersebut dilaporkan mengalami kebocoran dan terbalik pada 23 Januari 2025, sekitar pukul 23.30 WITA. Seluruh kru kapal, sebanyak 9 orang, berhasil diselamatkan oleh TB Atlantik Star 11.
LCT Cahaya Dana Reza membawa 6 unit alat berat dan bahan campuran dengan total muatan sekitar 150 ton. Saat dalam perjalanan menuju Buntok, Kalimantan Tengah, kapal mengalami kemiringan di perairan Pulau Sebuku. Nahkoda, Roni Tjitjipo, memutuskan untuk berlabuh jangkar guna memeriksa kebocoran yang diduga terjadi. Namun, kebocoran tidak dapat diatasi, sehingga kapal semakin bertambah miring.
Dalam upaya menyelamatkan kapal, nahkoda memutuskan untuk melepas jangkar dan mencari perairan dangkal. Namun, kondisi kapal semakin memburuk hingga akhirnya terbalik dengan lunas terlihat di permukaan air dan Seluruh muatan kapal tumpah ke laut.
Pada pukul 01.00 WITA, TB Atlantik Star 11 yang berada di sekitar lokasi segera memberikan bantuan dan mengevakuasi seluruh kru kapal dalam kondisi selamat. Saat ini, TB Atlantik Star 11 telah lego jangkar di perairan Sebuku.

Setelah menerima laporan dari agen kapal pada pukul 03.55 WITA, Tim Rescue Pos SAR Kotabaru diberangkatkan menuju lokasi menggunakan RIB 02 Kotabaru, rescue car, dan peralatan pendukung lainnya. Tim tiba di lokasi pada pukul 05.45 WITA setelah menempuh perjalanan sejauh 22,6 mil laut.
Batulicin VTS turut melakukan koordinasi dengan Basarnas setempat, KSOP Kotabaru-Batulicin, serta IMSI/MCC, dan mengeluarkan Notice to Mariners (NTM) terkait insiden ini.
Selama operasi evakuasi, cuaca di lokasi dilaporkan gerimis, namun tidak menghambat jalannya penyelamatan. Hingga berita ini diturunkan, upaya lebih lanjut tengah dilakukan untuk menangani kapal yang terbalik dan muatan yang tumpah di perairan Pulau Sebuku.

Kotabaru, South Kalimantan – The LCT Cahaya Dana Reza encountered an accident in the waters of Pulau Sebuku at coordinates 3°21'36.42"S 116°22'48.76"E, Kotabaru Regency, South Kalimantan. The vessel, which was sailing from Samarinda to Buntok, Central Kalimantan, reportedly suffered a leak and capsized on January 23, 2025, at around 11:30 PM WITA. All nine crew members were successfully rescued by TB Atlantik Star 11.
The LCT Cahaya Dana Reza was carrying six heavy equipment units and mixed cargo with a total load of approximately 150 tons. During its journey to Buntok, the vessel began to tilt while navigating the waters of Pulau Sebuku. The captain, Roni Tjitjipo, decided to anchor the ship to inspect the suspected leak. Unfortunately, the leak could not be contained, causing the vessel to tilt further.
In an effort to save the ship, the captain decided to lift the anchor and seek shallow waters. However, the ship's condition continued to worsen until it finally capsized, with its hull visible above the water's surface. All the cargo spilled into the sea.
At 1:00 AM WITA, TB Atlantik Star 11, which was nearby, immediately provided assistance and successfully evacuated all nine crew members in safe condition. The tugboat is currently anchored in Sebuku waters.

After receiving the report from the ship’s agent at 3:55 AM WITA, the Kotabaru SAR Post Rescue Team was deployed to the location using RIB 02 Kotabaru, a rescue car, and other supporting equipment. The team arrived at the scene at 5:45 AM WITA, after traveling a distance of 22.6 nautical miles.
Batulicin VTS coordinated with the local Basarnas, KSOP Kotabaru-Batulicin, and IMSI/MCC, and issued a Notice to Mariners (NTM) regarding the incident.
Light rain was reported during the evacuation operation but did not hinder the rescue efforts. As of this report, further actions are underway to address the capsized vessel and the spilled cargo in the waters of Pulau Sebuku.
