Gilimanuk, 14 Desember 2024 – Seorang pria yang jatuh ke laut di dermaga MB 2 Pelabuhan ASDP Gilimanuk (100 m dari dermaga MB 2 gilimanuk) berhasil diselamatkan oleh TNI Angkatan Laut yang sedang bertugas di sekitar lokasi kejadian.
Insiden ini dilaporkan ke UPP Kelas II Gilimanuk pada pukul 14.00 WITA. Berdasarkan laporan, seorang pria terdengar berteriak meminta tolong sekitar 100 meter dari dermaga MB 2. Tim evakuasi dari TNI AL segera merespons laporan tersebut dan melakukan penyelamatan.
Korban berhasil dievakuasi dalam kondisi sehat dan selamat, kemudian diserahkan kepada pihak berwenang untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Korban diketahui bernama Dadan, seorang pria asal Bandung, Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan hasil koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, korban diduga merupakan seorang residivis atau pelaku kejahatan yang berusaha melarikan diri dari kejaran Polisi KP3 Gilimanuk dengan cara berenang ke laut dari pantai atau daratan.
Pihak berwenang, termasuk UPP Kelas II Gilimanuk dan KP3 Gilimanuk, tengah melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut terkait motif dan status hukum korban.

Gilimanuk, December 14, 2024 – A man who fell into the sea near MB 2 dock at Gilimanuk ASDP Port, approximately 100 meters from the dock, was successfully rescued by the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL), which was on duty near the incident site.
The incident was reported to UPP Class II Gilimanuk at 2:00 PM WITA. According to the report, a man was heard shouting for help around 100 meters from MB 2 dock. The rescue team from the Navy promptly responded and conducted the rescue operation.
The victim was successfully evacuated in a healthy and safe condition and was handed over to the authorities for further examination.
The victim was identified as Dadan, a man from Bandung, West Java. Based on coordination with relevant parties, the victim is suspected of being a recidivist or a criminal suspect attempting to escape from KP3 Gilimanuk Police by swimming into the sea from the beach or shore.
Authorities, including UPP Class II Gilimanuk and KP3 Gilimanuk, are conducting further investigations to determine the motive and legal status of the victim.
This incident highlights the vigilance and swift response of the Navy and the effective coordination between related agencies at Gilimanuk ASDP Port.
