Taboneo, 5 September 2024 – Kapal TB. Carita mengalami insiden kebocoran di bagian buritan sebelah kiri akibat cuaca ekstrem yang melanda perairan Taboneo. Insiden tersebut terjadi pada Kamis, sekitar pukul 14.05 waktu setempat (LT).
Nakhoda TB. Carita segera menghubungi TB. Laut Utara I melalui radio VHF Channel 08 untuk meminta bantuan evakuasi. Menanggapi panggilan darurat tersebut, TB. Laut Utara I bergerak menuju lokasi kejadian pada pukul 14.10 LT untuk mengevakuasi kru kapal.
Saat evakuasi dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa seluruh kru TB. Carita dalam keadaan selamat, meskipun beberapa di antaranya mengalami cedera ringan. Para kru yang berhasil diselamatkan kemudian dipindahkan ke kapal patroli KNP 382 milik otoritas setempat untuk mendapatkan perawatan lebih lanjut, dengan seluruh kru TB. Carita diserahkan ke FLF. Mustika Nusantara. TB. Carita sendiri berlayar di bawah agen PT Tera Logistic Indonesia dengan pelabuhan asal di area Taboneo dan tujuan pelabuhan Taboneo Banjarmasin.
Penyebab insiden diperkirakan karena kondisi cuaca ekstrem dan gelombang kuat yang melanda perairan. Penanganan cepat dari TB. Laut Utara I dan KNP 382 berhasil mencegah dampak yang lebih buruk. Penyelidikan lebih lanjut akan dilakukan untuk memastikan penyebab dan langkah pencegahan ke depan.

Taboneo, 5 September 2024 - The ship TB. Carita experienced a leakage incident on the left stern due to the extreme weather that hit the waters of Taboneo. The incident occurred on Thursday, at around 2.05pm local time (LT).
The skipper of TB. Carita immediately contacted TB. North Sea I via VHF Channel 08 radio to request evacuation assistance. In response to the distress call, TB. Laut Utara I moved to the scene at 14.10 LT to evacuate the crew.
During the evacuation, it was found that the entire crew of TB. Carita were safe, although some of them suffered minor injuries. The rescued crew were then transferred to the local authority's KNP 382 patrol boat for further treatment, with the entire crew of the TB. Carita handed over to FLF. Mustika Nusantara. TB. Carita itself sailed under the agency of PT Tera Logistic Indonesia with an origin port in Taboneo area and a destination port of Taboneo Banjarmasin.
The cause of the incident is thought to be due to extreme weather conditions and strong waves that hit the waters. Quick handling from TB. Laut Utara I and KNP 382 managed to prevent any worse impacts. Further investigation will be conducted to ascertain the cause and future preventive measures.
