Maumere, 29 September 2024 – Kapal tunda (tugboat) TB Fortuna Amirah dengan call sign YDB6032 mengalami kerusakan mesin saat berlayar dari Kalabahi menuju Jakarta. Kapal yang sedang berada sekitar 8,7 mil laut dari Pelabuhan Maumere terombang-ambing di laut, tepatnya di posisi 08°28.6425' LS dan 122°12.322' BT. Informasi ini diterima oleh SROP Maumere pada pukul 10.44 UTC melalui saluran komunikasi radio CH 16.
Cuaca di sekitar lokasi kejadian dilaporkan dengan angin bertiup dari arah selatan dengan kecepatan 10-13 knot. TB Fortuna Amirah tidak sedang menggandeng kapal lain, dan seluruh awak kapal yang berjumlah enam orang dilaporkan dalam keadaan sehat.
Setelah menerima informasi tersebut, SROP Maumere segera meneruskannya kepada Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) dan Kantor SAR Maumere untuk tindakan lebih lanjut. Pada pukul 13.20 UTC, kapal tunda TB Marta Spring dengan call sign YD2111 bergerak menuju lokasi TB Fortuna Amirah untuk melakukan proses penundaan (towing). Diperkirakan, TB Marta Spring tiba di lokasi pada pukul 16.05 UTC.
Proses koneksi towing berhasil dilakukan pada pukul 16.18 UTC, dan TB Fortuna Amirah mulai ditarik menuju Pelabuhan Maumere. Kapal dijadwalkan tiba di pelabuhan pada Senin dini hari, 30 September 2024, pukul 03.00 LT.
Pada Senin pagi, pukul 04.30 LT, TB Fortuna Amirah berhasil sandar di dermaga Pelabuhan Maumere. Semua awak kapal dilaporkan dalam keadaan sehat dan selamat.
Tindakan cepat dari pihak terkait berhasil memastikan keselamatan kapal dan awaknya.

Maumere, 29 September 2024 – The tugboat TB Fortuna Amirah with the call sign YDB6032 experienced an engine failure while en route from Kalabahi to Jakarta. The vessel, located approximately 8.7 nautical miles from Maumere Port, was adrift at sea at coordinates 08°28.6425' S and 122°12.322' E. This information was received by the Maumere SROP at 10:44 UTC via radio communication channel CH 16.
The weather conditions around the incident area were reported with winds blowing from the south at 10-13 knots. TB Fortuna Amirah was not towing another vessel, and all six crew members were reported to be in good health.
After receiving the information, the Maumere SROP immediately forwarded it to the Port Authority (KSOP) and Maumere SAR Office for further action. At 13:20 UTC, the tugboat TB Marta Spring with the call sign YD2111 headed toward TB Fortuna Amirah to begin the towing process. It was estimated that TB Marta Spring would arrive at the location at 16:05 UTC.
The towing connection was successfully made at 16:18 UTC, and TB Fortuna Amirah began to be towed toward Maumere Port. The vessel was scheduled to arrive at the port on Monday, 30 September 2024, at 03:00 LT.
On Monday morning, at 04:30 LT, TB Fortuna Amirah safely docked at Maumere Port. All crew members were reported to be safe and in good health.
