Kronologis:
Pada pukul 17:46 LT, kapal MT. Green Stars menghubungi Operator VTS melalui saluran radio CH 16/20, melaporkan adanya masalah pada mesin dan belum dapat dipastikan berapa lama waktu perbaikannya. Kapal juga belum menerima informasi dari KKM (Kepala Kamar Mesin). Operator VTS meminta kapal untuk tetap memonitor dan menghubungi kembali jika ada informasi terbaru. Operator VTS juga memberikan instruksi kepada kapal-kapal yang berada di jalur selatan menuju utara untuk menjaga jarak dan kecepatan aman dari MT. Green Stars yang berada di posisi Lat. 05°54.418'S – Long 105°48.389'E.
Pada pukul 18:04 LT, MT. Green Stars kembali menghubungi Operator VTS dan melaporkan bahwa kapal akan berpindah posisi untuk melanjutkan perbaikan mesin agar tidak mengganggu lalu lintas di alur TSS. Kapal akan bergerak menuju selatan dengan kecepatan yang ada. Operator VTS merekomendasikan agar kapal berlabuh di area anchorage TSS Selatan pada posisi Lat. 05°58.617'S - Long 105°48.866'E untuk perbaikan mesin.
Operator VTS akan terus memonitor situasi dan melayani lalu lintas kapal lainnya.

Chronology:
At 17:46 LT, MT. Green Stars contacted the VTS Operator via radio channel CH 16/20, reporting an engine issue with an unknown repair duration. The vessel had not yet received information from the Chief Engineer. The VTS Operator instructed the vessel to continue monitoring and to provide updates as new information became available. Additionally, the VTS Operator advised vessels traveling from the south to the north to maintain a safe distance and speed from MT. Green Stars, which was located at Lat. 05°54.418'S – Long 105°48.389'E.
At 18:04 LT, MT. Green Stars recontacted the VTS Operator, reporting that the vessel would shift position to continue engine repairs without disrupting traffic in the TSS route. The vessel would proceed south at its current speed. The VTS Operator recommended that the vessel anchor in the TSS South anchorage area at Lat. 05°58.617'S - Long 105°48.866'E for engine repairs.
The VTS Operator will continue to monitor the situation and manage other vessel traffic.
