Halmahera Timur, 16 Juli 2024 - Pada hari ini, pukul 15.30 LT, Kepala Wilayah Kerja (KaWiker) BICOLI UPP Kelas III BULI melaporkan adanya insiden kecelakaan kapal kandas yang dialami oleh KM. SABUK NUSANTARA 35. Laporan ini diterima langsung dari Nakhoda kapal, Teya Saputra.

Jenis kecelakaan yang terjadi adalah kapal kandas di perairan Halmahera Timur, tepatnya di sekitar Karang Pinit dekat desa Gotowasi dengan koordinat 00° 40' 956"N/ 128° 28' 449" E. Kapal ini sedang dalam pelayaran dari Pelabuhan Bicoli menuju Pelabuhan Manitinting. Kecelakaan ini terjadi sekitar lima jam setelah kapal berlayar, yang disebabkan oleh cuaca buruk. Angin kencang, hujan lebat, dan jarak pandang yang terbatas menjadi faktor utama penyebab kapal kandas.
Menanggapi kejadian ini, beberapa tindakan telah diambil untuk mengatasi situasi tersebut:
Berkoordinasi dengan pihak Kepolisian Perairan dan Udara (Polairud) serta Angkatan Laut (AL) untuk mendapatkan bantuan.
Berkoordinasi dengan Terminal Khusus (Tersus) PT STS untuk mengirimkan kapal tunda guna melakukan pertolongan. Saat ini, kapal tunda TB. MULTI 2505 telah bergerak menuju lokasi Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP).
Upaya penyelamatan dan evakuasi sedang berlangsung untuk memastikan keselamatan seluruh penumpang dan awak kapal. Informasi lebih lanjut akan disampaikan sesuai perkembangan situasi di lapangan.

The type of incident that occurred is a grounding in the waters of East Halmahera, specifically around Karang Pinit near the village of Gotowasi, at coordinates 00° 40' 956"N/ 128° 28' 449" E. The ship was en route from Bicoli Port to Manitinting Port. This incident occurred approximately five hours after the ship set sail, caused by adverse weather conditions. Strong winds, heavy rain, and limited visibility were the main factors leading to the grounding of the ship.
In response to this incident, several measures have been taken to address the situation:
- Coordinating with the Water and Air Police (Polairud) and the Navy (AL) for assistance.
