Pada Rabu, 10 Juli 2024, insiden bagan hanyut mengganggu alur keluar dan masuk Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok. Kejadian ini dilaporkan oleh berbagai pihak terkait, dimulai dari pukul 09.00 WIB.
Pagi itu, Capt. Budimantoro, Direktur Navigasi, menghubungi Stasiun VTS Tanjung Priok melalui radio VHF pada channel 16, melaporkan adanya 3 hingga 5 buah bagan hanyut di alur pelabuhan. VTS Tanjung Priok segera menindaklanjuti laporan ini.
Pada pukul 09.10 WIB, VTS Tanjung Priok berkomunikasi dengan MV Tanto Subur 1 untuk menanyakan keberadaan bagan hanyut tersebut. Dari informasi yang diterima, terdapat 7 buah bagan di alur sebelah timur. Selanjutnya, pada pukul 09.20 WIB, VTS Tanjung Priok menghubungi MV Lintas Bahari yang mengonfirmasi bahwa benar terdapat 7 buah bagan pada jarak sekitar 1 mil laut setelah breakwater Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok.
VTS Tanjung Priok kemudian menginformasikan kepada KN Damaru mengenai adanya bagan hanyut yang mengganggu alur keluar dan masuk pelabuhan. KN Damaru segera bergerak menuju lokasi pada pukul 09.25 WIB. Tak lama berselang, pukul 09.35 WIB, VTS Tanjung Priok menghubungi Kepala Seksi Patroli KSU Tanjung Priok, Bapak Nuryadin, mengenai situasi tersebut.
Pada pukul 09.45 WIB, VTS Tanjung Priok mengumumkan berita securite mengenai bagan hanyut melalui siaran radio. Langkah ini diambil untuk memperingatkan kapal-kapal lain yang berlayar di sekitar pelabuhan.
Tepat pukul 11.11 WIB, VTS Tanjung Priok menerima informasi dari KN Damaru bahwa Pangkalan Penjagaan Laut dan Pantai (PLP) Tanjung Priok telah menurunkan Tim SeaRider menggunakan Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) ke lokasi untuk menangani bagan hanyut tersebut. Pangkalan PLP Kelas 1 Tanjung Priok juga menerjunkan Tim Rescue dan awak kapal patroli dari P.203 dan P.205 untuk menindaklanjuti laporan ini.
Dengan tindakan cepat dan koordinasi yang baik dari berbagai pihak, alur keluar masuk Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok kini sudah aman dari keberadaan bagan hanyut.

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, an incident involving floating platforms disrupted the entry and exit channels of Tanjung Priok Port. The incident was reported by various concerned parties, beginning at 09:00 WIB.
That morning, Capt. Budimantoro, Director of Navigation, contacted the Tanjung Priok VTS Station via VHF radio on channel 16, reporting the presence of 3 to 5 floating platforms in the port channel. Tanjung Priok VTS immediately followed up on this report.
At 09:10 WIB, Tanjung Priok VTS communicated with MV Tanto Subur 1 to inquire about the floating platforms. According to the information received, there were 7 floating platforms in the eastern channel. Subsequently, at 09:20 WIB, Tanjung Priok VTS contacted MV Lintas Bahari, which confirmed that there were indeed 7 floating platforms approximately 1 nautical mile past the Tanjung Priok Port breakwater.
Tanjung Priok VTS then informed KN Damaru about the floating platforms disrupting the port's entry and exit channels. KN Damaru promptly headed to the location at 09:25 WIB. Shortly after, at 09:35 WIB, Tanjung Priok VTS informed Mr. Nuryadin, Head of Patrol Section of KSU Tanjung Priok, about the situation.
At 09:45 WIB, Tanjung Priok VTS broadcast a securite message regarding the floating platforms over the radio. This measure was taken to warn other vessels navigating around the port.
At 11:11 WIB, Tanjung Priok VTS received information from KN Damaru that the Tanjung Priok Sea and Coast Guard Base (PLP) had deployed a SeaRider Team using a Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) to the location to handle the floating platforms. The PLP Class 1 Tanjung Priok Base also deployed a Rescue Team and patrol boat crew from P.203 and P.205 to follow up on this report.
Thanks to the swift action and good coordination from various parties, the entry and exit channels of Tanjung Priok Port are now safe from the presence of the floating platforms.
