Telah dilakukan evakuasi terhadap 13 (Tiga Belas) korban ABK KM. Wong Deso oleh kapal nelayan lokal KM. Barokah yang dikemudikan oleh Mat Na’am (55 tahun) pada tanggal 08 Juli 2024 pukul 06.00 WIB di posisi kurang lebih 10 mil sebelah barat Pulau Masakambing.
I. Fakta-Fakta:
A. Laporan Awal:
Pada hari Senin, 08 Juli 2024 pukul 10.30 WIB, Petugas Quick Response Team KPLP Masalembu menerima laporan dari masyarakat Kampung Baru tentang penemuan crew KM. Wong Deso yang diduga tenggelam pada posisi kurang lebih 10 mil sebelah barat Pulau Masakambing.
B. Rangkaian Kegiatan:

Pukul 10.30 WIB: Kantor UPP Kelas III Masalembu menerima informasi dari masyarakat Kampung Baru bahwa nelayan lokal telah menolong korban laka laut KM. Wong Deso di barat perairan Masakambing dan meminta bantuan evakuasi.

Team Quick Response Kantor UPP Kelas III Masalembu melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak Koramil Masalembu untuk evakuasi dan meminta keterangan dari para korban.

Pukul 10.40 WIB: Team Quick Response menuju rumah nelayan lokal Mat Na’am untuk melakukan evakuasi.

Pukul 11.00 WIB: Tim tiba di rumah nelayan lokal dan mengevakuasi 13 korban dengan data sebagai berikut:
- Nama kapal: KM. Wong Deso
- Asal: Brondong, Lamongan
- Jumlah ABK: 13 orang

Pukul 11.30 WIB: ABK KM. Wong Deso berhasil dievakuasi ke Puskesmas Masalembu untuk pengecekan kesehatan dan dinyatakan sehat dan selamat.
C. Kronologi Kejadian:
- Pada hari Sabtu, 06 Juli 2024 pukul 06.00 WIB, KM. Wong Deso bertolak dari Pelabuhan Brondong menuju Pulau Lambau, Kalimantan Barat.
- Pada hari Senin, 08 Juli 2024 sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB, kapal menabrak kayu di sebelah barat perairan Masakambing sehingga mengalami kebocoran di lambung kanan dan tenggelam.
- Pada hari Senin, 08 Juli 2024 sekitar pukul 06.00 WIB, nelayan lokal KM. Barokah bernama Mat Na’am menolong 13 korban dan membawa mereka ke darat dan kemudian ke Puskesmas terdekat. Semua ABK dan nahkoda dalam keadaan sehat dan selamat.
II. Catatan:
A. Penyebab Laka Laut:
- KM. Wong Deso mengalami laka laut akibat menabrak batang kayu yang mengakibatkan kebocoran pada lambung kanan kapal sehingga kapal terbalik.
B. Kerugian:
- Korban jiwa: Nihil
- Kerugian materiil: KM. Wong Deso tenggelam
C. Lokasi Korban:
- ABK KM. Wong Deso saat ini berada di Terminal Penumpang Pelabuhan Masalembu.

A. Initial Report:
On Monday, July 08, 2024 at 10:30 a.m., KPLP Masalembu Quick Response Team officers received a report from the people of Kampung Baru about the discovery of the KM crew. Wong Deso who allegedly sank at a position approximately 10 miles west of Masakambing Island.
B. Series of Activities:
At 10.30 am: UPP Class III Masalembu Office received information from the people of Kampung Baru that local fishermen had helped victims of the KM. Wong Deso in the western waters of Masakambing and requested evacuation assistance.
The UPP Class III Masalembu Quick Response Team coordinated with the Masalembu Koramil to evacuate and request information from the victims.
At 10:40 a.m: The Quick Response Team headed to the house of local fisherman Mat Na'am to evacuate.
At 11:00 am: The team arrived at the local fisherman's house and evacuated 13 victims with the following data:

At 11:30 a.m: THE CREW OF KM. Wong Deso was successfully evacuated to the Masalembu Health Center for health checks and declared healthy and safe.
C. Chronology of the incident:
On Saturday, July 06, 2024 at 06.00 WIB, KM. Wong Deso departed from Brondong Harbor to Lambau Island, West Kalimantan.
On Monday, July 08, 2024 at around 01.00 WIB, the ship hit a log west of Masakambing waters causing a leak in the right hull and sank.
On Monday, July 08, 2024 at around 06.00 WIB, local fisherman KM. Barokah named Mat Na'am rescued 13 victims and brought them ashore and then to the nearest health center. All crew members and the captain were healthy and safe.
II. Notes:
A. Cause of the Marine Accident:
KM. Wong Deso experienced a marine accident due to hitting a log that caused a leak in the starboard hull so that the ship capsized.
B. Loss:

Material loss: KM. Wong Deso sank
