Berdasarkan informasi dari Kantor SAR Sorong pada tanggal 29 Juni 2024 telah terjadi kecelakaan 1 orang ABK kapal nelayan jatuh ke laut dari rumpon saat menyalakan mesin. Diperkirakan posisi titik koordinat korban jatuh pada 0 ⁰03' 37,44" N - 132⁰ 32' 45,00" perairan utara kabupaten tambrauw.
