Balikpapan, 7 Juni 2024 – Kapal tanker MT Mutiara Global dengan tanda panggil YDLK2 mengalami kerusakan mesin pada posisi koordinat 01°17'.25" S dan 117°47'.88" E. Kapal tersebut saat ini sedang berlabuh di alur dekat Bouy 12 dan tengah dalam proses perbaikan.
Kapal kapal yang berlayar masuk dan keluar alur Balikpapan serta yang melintasi area tersebut diimbau untuk menghindari atau meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap keberadaan kapal MT Mutiara Global.
