Sebuah kapal tunda yang terdaftar di Singapura "JTN 2012".9V5167 yang sedang menarik Tongkang "CEL 203" dilaporkan meninggalkan Batam Indonesia pada tanggal 13 April 2024 menuju Port Moresby Papau Nugini. Perkiraan kapal tiba pada tanggal 10 Mei 2024 di Port Moresby Papau Nugini. komunikasi terakhir yang di lakukan oleh Kapal tunda di ketahui pada saat Nakhoda melapor ke agen melalui telepon SAT pada 15 April 2024 pukul 2024 ketika saat melewati posisi Lat 00-14.860N Long 105-53.855E. Nakhoda melaporkan kondisi laut dan cuaca yang baik. Sejak saat itu, agen tidak dapat menghubungi nakhoda melalui telepon SAT. menurut infomasi Kapal tunda tersebut tidak dilengkapi dengan sistem pelacakan AIS atau LRIT dan lokasi pembaruan lokasi dilakukan melalui telepon SAT. sampai saat ini berita di buat belum ada perkembangan informasi lebih lanjut.

A Singapore registered tug "JTN 2012".9V5167 towing barge "CEL 203" was reported to have left Batam Indonesia on April 13, 2024 for Port Moresby Papau New Guinea. The tug's last known communication was when the skipper reported to the agent via SAT telephone on April 15, 2024 at 2024 hours while passing Lat 00-14.860N Long 105-53.855E. The skipper reported good sea and weather conditions. From then on, the agent was unable to contact the master via SAT phone. The tug is not equipped with an AIS or LRIT tracking system and location updates are made via SAT phone. no further information has been released as of press time.
