EVAKUASI MEDIS SEORANG CREW KAPAL MT. SHENGHUI GLORY BERBENDERA LIBERIA / MEDICAL EVACUATION OF A CREW MEMBER FROM MT.SHENGUI GLORY THE LIBERIAN FLAG

Banda Aceh, 17 April 2024 - SROP Sabang melaporkan bahwa sebuah operasi evakuasi medis telah berhasil dilakukan oleh Basarnas Aceh untuk menyelamatkan seorang ABK yang mengalami keadaan darurat medis di atas kapal tanker MT. Shenghui Glory. Menurut kronologis yang diterima, pada tanggal 12 April 2024, seorang ABK MT. Shenghui Glory berbendera Liberia bernama Xu Min (42 tahun) dari China, yang sedang dalam perjalanan dari Port Klang, Malaysia, menuju Port Louis, Mauritius, diduga mendadak mengalami serangan herpes dan membutuhkan penanganan medis segera.

Informasi penting diterima dari perwakilan agen kapal di Banda Aceh, yang kemudian disampaikan kepada kapal melalui Sabang Radio/PKA channel 16, untuk mengarahkan kapal ke titik posisi evakuasi medis yang telah ditentukan. Adapun titik koordinat yang telah ditentukan yaitu 05°40’00”N - 095°15’00”E.

Pada tanggal 17 April 2024, pada pukul 16.50 waktu setempat, telah dilaksanakan tahapan precom dan excom dengan pihak-pihak terkait serta Basarnas Aceh. Hal ini dilakukan sebagai bagian dari persiapan untuk penjemputan dan evakuasi korban, Xu Min, yang mengalami kondisi darurat medis di atas kapal.

Dalam waktu singkat tim Basarnas Aceh langsung melakukan operasi evakuasi medis. Kapal KN SAR Kresna berangkat ke titik posisi evakuasi medis pada pukul 19.30 LT dan tiba di lokasi pada pukul 20.30 LT, di mana proses evakuasi medis dilakukan dengan sukses.

Operasi evakuasi medis berlangsung dalam kondisi cuaca mendung, dengan kecepatan angin mencapai 14 knot dari arah barat ke tenggara dan gelombang setinggi 0,5 - 1,5 meter. Untuk memastikan keselamatan selama evakuasi, berbagai alat dan perlengkapan SAR digunakan, termasuk KN. SAR Kresna, rescue carrier, ambulan KKP, dan perlengkapan medis lengkap termasuk APD Covid-19.

Setelah evakuasi berhasil dilakukan, korban langsung dibawa ke Pelabuhan Ulee Lheue, untuk dirawat lebih lanjut di RSUD Zainal Abidin Banda Aceh.

Shenghui Glory. According to the received chronology, on April 12, 2024, a crew member of MT. Shenghui Glory, flying the Liberian flag, named Xu Min (42 years old) from China, who was en route from Port Klang, Malaysia, to Port Louis, Mauritius, reportedly suddenly experienced a herpes outbreak and required immediate medical attention.

Crucial information was received from ship agent representatives in Banda Aceh, which was then relayed to the vessel via Sabang Radio/PKA channel 16, directing the vessel to the predetermined medical evacuation position. The coordinates for the evacuation point were 05°40’00”N - 095°15’00”E.

On April 17, 2024, at 16:50 local time, the precom and excom phases were executed with relevant parties and Aceh Search and Rescue team. This was done as part of the preparation for the pickup and evacuation of the victim, Xu Min, who was experiencing a medical emergency aboard the vessel.

In a short time frame, the Search and Rescue Aceh team immediately conducted the medical evacuation operation. The KN SAR Kresna vessel departed at 19:30 LT and arrived at the location at 20:30 LT, where the medical evacuation process was successfully carried out.

The medical evacuation operation took place under overcast weather conditions, with wind speeds reaching 14 knots from the west to southeast direction and waves measuring 0.5 - 1.5 meters high. To ensure safety during the evacuation, various SAR equipment and tools were utilized, including KN. SAR Kresna, rescue carriers, KKP ambulances, and comprehensive medical supplies including Covid-19 PPE.

After the successful evacuation, the victim was immediately transported to Ulee Lheue Port for further treatment at RSUD Zainal Abidin, Banda Aceh.
