Pada hari Minggu, tanggal 07 April 2024, terjadi peristiwa mengejutkan terjadi di atas kapal KM. INTAN DAYA 22 yang berlayar di Perairan Tanjung Buyut. Berikut adalah kronologis kejadian tersebut
Kronologis kejadian yang terungkap menunjukkan bahwa pada pukul 09.00 LT, kapal berada pada posisi 020 12’ 000” S / 1040 55’ 400” E saat Nakhoda meminta Juru Mudi Jaga untuk menjalankan One Hour Notice terkait kedatangan kapal di tujuan. Juru Mudi Jaga melakukan tugasnya dengan mengetuk kamar Kepala Kamar Mesin (KKM) untuk mendapatkan tanda tangan. Namun, tidak ada respons dari dalam kamar. Juru Mudi Jaga kemudian memutuskan untuk membuka pintu yang ternyata tidak terkunci. Mereka menemukan KKM, bernama Ignasius Blua, dalam keadaan tidur dengan mata terbuka. Karena keadaan tersebut mencurigakan, Juru Mudi Jaga segera memanggil Oiler untuk memeriksa. Setelah diperiksa, KKM ditemukan dalam posisi terlentang tanpa reaksi. Informasi segera disampaikan kepada Nakhoda di anjungan, yang kemudian meminta Mualim I dan Mualim II untuk memeriksa. Sayangnya, hasil pemeriksaan menunjukkan bahwa KKM telah meninggal dunia. Mendengar hal itu kemudian Nakhoda memerintahkan untuk berkoordinasi dengan Agent setempat dan Otoritas Pelabuhan.

Pukul 10.00 LT, Petugas Jaga Wilker Tanjung Api Api menerima informasi dari Agen PT. Armada Maritim Nusantara mengenai kejadian yang melibatkan kru kapal KM. INTAN DAYA 22. Dengan sigap, petugas tersebut segera melaporkan kejadian ini kepada Kepala Wilker Tanjung Api Api.
Satu jam kemudian, tepatnya pukul 11.00 LT, petugas jaga Wilker TAA berkoordinasi dengan pihak Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Wilker TAA untuk menindaklanjuti kejadian yang terjadi di kapal tersebut. Mereka segera menuju lokasi KM. INTAN DAYA 22 untuk memberikan bantuan dan koordinasi yang diperlukan. Dokumentasi lengkap terlampir untuk referensi selanjutnya. The revealed chronology of events shows that at 09:00 LT, the ship was positioned at 020 12’ 000” S / 1040 55’ 400” E when the Captain requested the Duty Officer to execute the One Hour Notice regarding the ship's arrival at the destination. The Duty Officer performed his duty by knocking on the Chief Engineer's (CE) room to obtain a signature. However, there was no response from inside the room. The Duty Officer then decided to open the door, which was unexpectedly unlocked. They found the CE, named Ignasius Blua, sleeping with his eyes open. Due to the suspicious condition, the Duty Officer promptly called the Oiler to inspect. After inspection, the CE was found lying unresponsive. The information was immediately conveyed to the Captain on the bridge, who then requested Mualim I and Mualim II to inspect. Unfortunately, the inspection results indicated that the CE had passed away. Upon hearing this, the Captain ordered coordination with the local Agent and Port Authorities.

One hour later, precisely at 11:00 LT, the Wilker TAA guard coordinated with the Port Health Office of Wilker TAA to follow up on the incident that occurred on the ship. They immediately proceeded to the location of KM. INTAN DAYA 22 to provide necessary assistance and coordination. Complete documentation is attached for further reference.
