Kotabaru, 6 April 2024 - SROP Banjarmasin telah menerima Surat dari Kepala Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan Banjarmasin No 150/SAR-202/0424 yang menyampaikan informasi mengenai Signal Distress Man Over Boat Kapal MV Guo Yuan 12. Berdasarkan surat tersebut, pada tanggal 06 April 2024 pukul 17:50 waktu setempat, Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan Kupang menerima informasi dari Basarnas Command Centre yang memberikan laporan bahwa terdeteksi Signal Distress tentang kejadian Man Overboard (MOB) di mana satu orang terjatuh dari atas kapal MV Guo Yuan 12 yang berlayar dari Muara Berau Samarinda dengan tujuan Singapura. Kejadian tersebut terjadi pada koordinat 08°14.0791'S dan 127°06.4059'E di sekitar Perairan Pulau Sembilan Kotabaru.

Sementara itu, belum ada laporan terkait identitas korban yang terjatuh dari atas kapal MV. Guo Yuan 12. Berdasarkan Pantauan di Aplikasi I Motion Kapal MV. Guo Yuan 12 terlihat memutar haluan menuju titik lokasi kejadian namun sampai saat ini belum ada informasi terkait korban. Stasiun Radio Pantai Banjarmasin berkoordinasi dengan Badan Pencarian dan Pertolongan Banjarmasin dan segera melakukan Broadcast / Penyiaran Berita Man Over Boat kepada semua kapal yang melintas di area tersebut, diharapkan kapal kapal yang melintas di area tersebut agar dapat melakukan pengamatan sekitar. Jika melihat korban dapat segera memberikan bantuan dan pertolongan serta menginformasikan kepada SROP Banjarmasin dan Kantor Basarnas Banjarmasin.

The incident occurred at coordinates 08°14.0791'S and 127°06.4059'E in the vicinity of the waters of Pulau Sembilan, Kotabaru.

Meanwhile, there have been no reports regarding the identity of the victim who fell overboard from the MV Guo Yuan 12 vessel. Based on observations in the I Motion application, the MV Guo Yuan 12 vessel was seen altering its course towards the location of the incident, but as of now, there is no information regarding the victim. The Banjarmasin Coast Radio Station is coordinating with the Banjarmasin Search and Rescue Agency and will promptly broadcast Urgency Message of the Man Over Boat incident to all vessels passing through the area. Vessels passing through the area are urged to maintain vigilance and conduct observations around them. If a victim is spotted, immediate assistance and aid should be provided, and information should be communicated to the Banjarmasin Coastal Radio Station and Search And Rescue Banjarmasin Office.
