MV. BINTANG MULIA 2 TENGGELAM AKIBAT KEMIRINGAN KAPAL | MV. BINTANG MULIA 2 SUNK DUE TO SHIP TILT

Pada Hari Senin, tanggal 25.03.2024 pukul 12.45 LT pihak Agen PT. Samudera Arkan Nusantara memberikan Informasi ke VTS Belawan bahwasanya MV. BINTANG MULIA 2 call sign YDNX tujuan Batu Ampar,Batam telah tenggelam (sinking) pada tgl 24.03.2024 sekitar pukul 22.00 LT s/d 23.00 LT pada posisi Lintang 03°45’943” N / Bujur 099°07’053” E. Penyebab tenggelamnya kapal tersebut mengalami kemiringan dan keluar dari Pelabuhan Belawan dengan kondisi AIS kapal tersebut tidak terdeteksi (AIS posisi OFF). Penyelamatan crew kapal dilakukan oleh Nelayan dan crew Kapal Patroli TNI AL yang sedang Patroli di area tersebut. Pihak KSOP Kuala Tanjung sudah mengetahui kondisi kapal tersebut dan kondisi crew dalam keadaan selamat dan crew kapal MV. Bintang Mulia 2 dibawa ke Area Pantai Cermin – Tanjung Beringin. 

MV. BINTANG MULIA terdiri dari 14 crew dan bermuatan 43 kontainer. Kontainer-kontainer itu berisikan berbagai macam sembako atau kebutuhan pokok seperti, Telur Ayam, Minyak Goreng, Tepung, Jagung, Bibit Tanaman, Pupuk, Minuman Coca Cola, hingga barang-barang Elektronik.

On Monday, 25.03.2024 at 12.45 LT the Agent of PT Samudera Arkan Nusantara provided information to VTS Belawan that MV. BINTANG MULIA 2 call sign YDNX destination Batu Ampar, Batam has sunk (sinking) on 24.03.2024 around 22.00 LT to 23.00 LT at the position of Latitude 03°45'943 "N / Longitude 099°07'053". E. The cause of the sinking of the ship was that the ship tilted and left the Port of Belawan with the condition of the ship's AIS not detected (AIS OFF position). The rescue of the crew was carried out by fishermen and the crew of the Navy Patrol Boat which was patrolling the area. The Kuala Tanjung KSOP already knows the condition of the ship and the condition of the crew is safe and the crew of the MV. Bintang Mulia 2 was brought to the Cermin Beach Area - Tanjung Beringin. 

MV. BINTANG MULIA consists of 14 crew members and is loaded with 43 containers. The containers contain various kinds of basic necessities or basic needs such as Chicken Eggs, Cooking Oil, Flour, Corn, Plant Seeds, Fertilizers, Coca Cola Drinks, to Electronic goods.
