Bontang, 24 Maret 2024 - Pada Minggu malam ini, sekitar pukul 21.00 WITA, VTS Samarinda (Pak Arif) menerima laporan mengenai operasi penyelamatan di perairan Bontang. Kapal yang terlibat adalah TB. RAHADIAN 03 di bawah nahkoda Seki Melki Lumakeki.
Menurut laporan yang diterima, TB. RAHADIAN 03 berhasil menyelamatkan 1 orang nelayan dari total 11 nelayan yang terdampar di koordinat lintang bujur 00o10'143'' S / 117o50'255" E, sementara 10 nelayan lainnya masih berada di kapal nelayan. Berdasarkan informasi dari nelayan yang diselamatkan, posisi kapal terbalik yang disebabkan oleh gelombang besar.
Dilaporkan bahwa jarak dari stasiun pilot ke lokasi kejadian adalah sekitar 18 mil laut. Pada pukul 22.00, satu lagi nelayan berhasil diselamatkan, sehingga total dua orang telah diselamatkan, sementara sembilan orang lainnya masih terjebak di kapal yang terbalik. Namun, pada pukul 02.58, sembilan nelayan tersebut berhasil ditemukan dalam keadaan selamat.
Saat ini, sebanyak 11 orang nelayan berada di TB. RAHADIAN 03 dan sedang dipindahkan ke LCT. LienStar 88 untuk dibawa ke Indominco Bontang guna mendapatkan perawatan lebih lanjut.
Menurut informasi yang diberikan oleh Nahkoda TB. RAHADIAN 03, para nelayan tersebut berasal dari Bontang. Keberhasilan operasi penyelamatan ini juga telah dimonitor oleh Badan SAR Nasional (BASARNAS) dan Kepolisian Air dan Udara (POLAIRUD) Bontang sebagai bagian dari koordinasi penanganan keadaan darurat di laut.

According to the received report, TB. RAHADIAN 03 successfully rescued 1 fisherman out of a total of 11 fishermen stranded at the coordinates of latitude 00°10'143'' S / longitude 117°50'255'' E, while the other 10 fishermen remained on board. Based on information from the rescued fisherman, the vessel capsized due to large waves.
It was reported that the distance from the pilot station to the location of the incident was approximately 18 nautical miles. At 10:00 PM, another fisherman was successfully rescued, bringing the total to two rescued individuals, while the remaining nine were still trapped on the capsized vessel. However, by 02:58 AM, all nine fishermen were found safe.
Currently, a total of 11 fishermen are on board TB. RAHADIAN 03 and are being transferred to LCT. LienStar 88 to be taken to Indominco Bontang for further treatment.
